The IT department offers many competitions, running each term, to deepen students’ understanding in creativity and programming.

Our Online Ambassadors have been extremely busy with judging the World Book Day Online Safety competition where we have had a huge number of entries from Year 7s to Year 10s. Students have been able to demonstrate transferable skills from their English lessons to ICT. They have planned their story and designed it to be fit for purpose. The Online Safety stories involved an element of the positive impact of technology, alongside the dangers and how we can protect ourselves and each other. Students that had entered received 30 ETHIC Points, alongside certificates to appreciate the timeinvested in planning and creating their short story. Our winners are: 3^rd Place Amelie S, 2^nd Place Lola N and 1st  place Michael P at KS3 and Tanya J at KS4. Students have been excited to receive their certificate, ETHICS and Medal this morning.
