Achievement
We are incredibly pleased to announce another year of pleasing results for students. Their determination and hard work has meant many have achieved strong results and will now progress onto their chosen next steps in higher education, jobs or apprenticeships. Subjects that saw particularly impressive results include 83% of students who studied Criminology achieving A*-B and 100% of students who studied ICT achieving Distinction* - Merit. Many students have secured places at a number of the top Universities in the country including the University of Birmingham, Sheffield, Nottingham and Loughborough.
There have also been some impressive individual performances, which include:
- Kirsty Hay who achieved A* in Psychology, A in History and A in Chemistry and will read Psychology at Loughborough University
- Jessica Ellis who achieved A* in Criminology, B in Psychology and B in Sociology and secured her place to study Psychology at University of Birmingham
- Keelan Green who achieved A in Sociology, B in History and B in English Language and moves on to read Sociology at the University of Sheffield
- Ella-Nicole Waterfield who will now study Pharmacy at the University of Birmingham
